The time finally came to take the engine and transmission out of my 1982 Ford Mustang. I’m committed now. The next steps are to go through both the engine and transmission before I install them in the Fairmont. I still have a fair bit of work to do, but it’s nice to have the project moving forward. Honestly, this is probably one of the easiest engine jobs I’ve ever done. If you don’t believe me, check my other engine videos.

After you attach the rotating piece to the back of the block, lift the stand up and slide the shaft in, insert the pin and lower the engine and remove the hook.
38:56 Ohhhh Has a fram filter on it…. looks like the engine needs to be rebuilt regardless 🙂

The glasses hes wearing can be bought in the sporting goods section at walmart, usually around $6 , but they work well , they're shooting glasses
We had an electronic oil pressure sensor burst on my wife's 89 Nissan Sentra, pressurized oil leak, drained it dry in under a half a mile.
It can go bad either way, manual or electronic.
Your hella funny. U remind me of my impatient brother lol. Never thinks ahead. N wen he can’t get a part off or is struggling he starts to get mad n mean. Lol. Throwing stuff around breaking things lol. I think the best thing to do is to go take a breather n relax for a minute. Then execute. I think u should drink some beers while u work on the car. It helps me mellow out n it’s more fun. Also put a stereo in the shop. Just throwing it out there. N remember work safely. 👠don’t smash Brian’s toes 😂😂 keep the great vids coming brotha!!!!
A short length of chain would have made your life a ton easier than fighting the hook. Just sayin
I forgot I had written my previous comment. I’m watching this video again because I bought my neighbor’s ‘80 Mustang and a 351w to put in it. 😃
3:18 and he told me to shut up as I was breathing in to comment…. well played sir, well played.
You're Eric the car guy? Have you ever pulled an engine before??? LOL
it's a fram filter on! says everything about the previous owner.
watching that shifter disappear was like watching my dick disappear in cold weather.
Should have got a motor at a junkyard and fix that Mustang
