i have an 04 tl it doesn't have the clips how do I drop the panel
Need to do this for my 08 Type-S, thanks for the video Eric
My name is Dave. And I’m addicted to the 3rd Gen TL
Hi Dave………
Just changed it mine was so disgusting imagine when I change the engine air filter tomorrow it will be just as dirty
HEPA CABIN FILTER PLEASE + cleaning ac
This isn't the same for the earlier tl's.. this video stopped being useful after like the second step for my 04. Regardless I gave the video a like because you've helped me with countless other things!
Don't forget to spray some liquid ass on that filter before you install it.
Man I could really use your help on this one. So I changed my cabin air filter and replaced it with a K&N cabin air filter. Got in the car this morning and drove about 30 miles to work. When I parked the vehicle there was smoke coming from under the hood. It did not smell like oil or any fluids and it also was not the belt. I inspected the belt and pulleys
Could it be leaves in such being sucked into the heater
Great TL videos! I’ve been enjoying doing all the work on my 06 TL. I feel like a man no matter what my wife says. ðŸ˜â€
Thank you for the demonstration
That’s a lot more involved than I anticipated
I wish my truck had a cabin air filter. I have to suffer instead
Thanks Eric now my car doesn't smell like Dog and gym socks. Thanks again excellent work as usual.bye Thomas
YES! YES I DO! THANKS!!!
Easy and simplistic. Great video
And that is why it costs $200 to replace the cabin air filter in an Acura
I know perfectly how to do a cabin filter lol. I still love the videos Eric
Hi mister Eric it would be very helpful if you could send via email a ignition wiring diagram for a 2004 Mazda Rx8. (tjoe398@gmail.com)
How on earth is that dashboard without any cracks???
Yet another excellent explanation of the minor details that make the difference between leaving "back yard mechanic marks" on a clean machine and understanding just what is involved in doing it right first and not trashing the trim work.
And this is on a simple cabin air filter.
Thanks Eric.
Same rules for 1st Gen tsx? Since they kinda are accord well eles in the world.
You made it look Nice and Easy, Good Job!
"can go back into the hole. I do this by spreading apart the bottom, and then pushing forward…" #outofcontexteric
Why are all YouTube mechanics wearingng gloves. If I put them on my hands are soaked in ten minutes. Never wore gloves in construction.
On my 06 Honda Accord the unit where the filter sits is the same and only have to drop the glove box. Was surprised to see the extra parts, the screws and wiring harness you have to deal with.
Is the new one from K&N ?
That's probably the thing I hated most about my TL. That damn cabin air filter was such a pain in the ass to replace.
PRO TIP: Inhaling Dust and other allergens is better Do not change your cabin air filter Save yourself $10 or more
No
you are the man! i’ve learned sooo much from just watching your videos…
If I had to do this yearly, I'd cut an opening in the plastic shield behind the glove box.
Quick and easy. I’d say most owners wouldn’t DIY.
nice
Thanks Eric
I don’t have a 2008 Acura TL that needs one, but I have a 1999 Mercedes SL500 that needed one. Posted a video on it this week!

Is it me or his views is kinda low for his subscribers he has. Seems like he lost views since he stopped doing repair vids. And when he does its usualky a honda, acura. I missed when he did toyota, ford, Chevrolet.
You are rhe best dude ..butyou look like negan from walking dead😅😅😅😅ðŸ‘Â👌ðŸ‘Â
Wow am I late to the party LOL.
hey eric, any plans on doing anything related to the front suspension? i have an 08 tl and my steering is loose and likes to pull on bumps and won’t align perfectly. i’ve replaced both shocks, sway bar bushings, and lower ball joints. no ps fluid leaks that i can see either
Eric- do you have any solutions to a musty smell in the air vents in my Civic? It smells on heat and AC, and is especially bad when it rains and when recirculate is off.
I have already sprayed Lysol into my outside vents with fresh air on, but it didn't last long.
That’s a lot of unscrewing for a cabin filter
98% of owners will never even bother to look at those filters, they will just wonder why the air flow is not the same after a couple of years and take their vehicles to the dealer where they will be charged an arm and a leg for something that takes 15 minutes to do on a day off.
I need to do this to my new ‘05 TL, this is perfect Eric!
