Rust removal and repair. Repairing rust on your car is something that should be done quickly to prevent it from spreading. It can be easily done without welding, by using strong but inexpensive body filler. You can even paint the car yourself. Rust repair is common at the wheel wells and rocker panels of cars and in this video I show the proper and most thorough way to remove and repair rust.

bro you just earned a new subscriber!
looks great man!
11:30 i can see your not wearing a mask while sanding in the reflection hahaha the fan is probably good enough outside anyways lol
Thanks for the encouragement to do it ourselves !
Love your videos bro! If I wanted to do a paint correction on the whole car, would you recommend doing that first or repairing the rust first? Just wondering because my rust on on the rear quarter panels (typical honda lol). If I fix the rust first, do I just avoid doing the paint correction on the RQP's since they would be freshly sanded/painted, etc? Thanks!
This isn't a repair and that mesh screen doesn't reinforce anything, it just gives the body filler something to hold on to.
Not saying this stuff doesn't work, it just isn't a "repair".
Chris Fix… always the answer
Thank you sir hope i can get everything tmr to do my car
I sadly have a rust hole in the same spot that you yanked off your family car… 😢 I don’t know how to do that thing you said. I am nervous that I can’t keep it much longer… is there any way you can fix it?
my mom just gave me her old car and ima use this on the rust spots!!
Brilliant advice Dude. Thank you so much
just saved what I thought was a botched clear coat job on a spoiler I swapped. The orange peel had me heart broken after all the smoothing and sanding of the body filler. cheers dude
Nice work, gonna do it on my brother's Renault Scenic so keeping fingers crossed.
Watching this stuff for transformers fanfiction, cause authenticity matters, even in fiction

Not that the video was wrong, but my half a$$ work ethic and cutting corners… caught up to me 😂😂😂
17:12 clear coat trick. Is it only for cleat coat? Or paint too? Idk
17:48 other tip
When you finally have all the stuff together and removed the rust and then realize the hole is way bigger than you thought
Hey Chris – did the rust ever end up coming back on this car?
Thank you. Would you like to do my car? 2000 Ford Mustang. What’s your cost?
Outstanding Outstanding
I will attempt to do this on my 79’ c10, you gave me more confidence to go out and tackle this my self, thanks 100x Chris.
Hello, do you have any video repairing rusted rock chip?
Good luck getting it shaped in just 2 passes of body filler. Takes me at least 10 passes, but easier to add filler than sand it down. I get <2 min to spread the filler, just time to make a few passes. Once it starts getting the least bit gummy, stop and don't try to smooth further. It doesn't "dry", rather a chemical reaction. In another 2 min, after cleaning tools, use a cheese grater to shape it while still soft enough, when you can still flake off tiny chips. Once hard, it can only sand off as powder. I also start with Bondo Glass, even on flat dented metal since it fills better and is stronger. No matter how perfectly flat it feels, once painted you will notice ripples and air bubble voids. Smooth and fill those with spot filler. Still probably will see little ripples in the final gloss paint, but good-enough.
ну и херня получилась
What can i do, if the Color of my car is everywhere a Little different because of the sun?
