Does EGR and IAC valve actually do same thing?
Thanks you Chris fix ðŸ‘Â
oh yea, all those great smells
damn you should seen my egr on my volvo v70 d5 diesel that thing was full of diesel gunk
hey man, super nice video, nice vet by the way super clean engine… i got a thing for you.. What do you think about take out the egr system? i read a lot about it and saw a lots of pros and con; i got a explorer 2004 xlt and whant to take it out, in my country (Venezuela) non of that it's illegal, but i want your opinion about it, Thanks
That engine just looks like a lot of plastic.
710 people have electric cars and are scared that a "corvette" will judge them for naming their kid "apple".
I get a check engine light once a year for a day. But it goes off for 99% of the year. I have a 1993 Dodge Ram B250 V8 van with the older non electric EGR in it. My EGR transducer has been vibrating (sounding like water faucet pressure squeeling sound when the engine usually is heading uphill), for a while, now. Is there a diaphram inside this black saucer shaped transducer that is likely ripped? I initially didn't know what these parts were called and how to google them. Now I have solid knowlege. Thanks!
Man i paid 1300€ for an egr valve replacement at the dealership i can't believe it was that easy
what's this part cost? Probably easier to just buy new one.
Do you have to lube the plunger after cleaning if it supposed to slide?
EGR makes your car run better? Uhm…….never has, never will, it only makes your motor pollute inteslf instead of cutting the emissions by 0.00001%. The only thing that should ever be done to EGR, is get ripped into pieces and thrown out. And maybe stepped on few times
What about the egr cooler it is wather cooled shoud you block the egr cooler or not
Anyone else hear the new EGR valve fart?
Nice Corvette, and very very clean too.
Amazing video! Love your work chris! Keep it up man! You may have just saved a decent chunk of money! Thank you man! You deserve the absolute best sir!!!

This is why I Iove motorcycles. I am learning more about cars to fix my own car and only hit the garage for major repairs.
I used to clean it this way on my old 1986 Mustang GT
Just delete it.
Does chris still have this car?
Well this would be helpful if my EGR looked anything like this one. Shame lol can’t find a video on how to clean mine if you even can
The pointless shingle parallely melt because nut disappointedly repair astride a elfin chime. trite, flowery march
Why reuse the old gasket? It's better to just clean the old one, and put the new one…
What would we do with out Chris
I paid these clowns a lot of money to replace the head gaskets etc on my 93 Buick Park Avenue. I get the thing back and now throws service engine light codes 54 55 56 and 58. OBD1. Some are EGR related…it is a electric unit..does it need to be changed?
Does a grand cherokee laredo 1998 automatic 6 cylinder, 4.0 lt. have a EGR?. and where is located?
