  1. About breaking the gears in a ratchet. I still have my first ratchet. It’s carbon steel so not very strong. 32 teeth inside and I just took my brothers Audi starter off. Took all my force since I didn’t have power tool and any room to turn my good ratchet. So had to use old Betsy. It was in so tight omgggg. I had no space to use my body’s strength. Just my wrist basically. 2 hours later finally got it

  2. my fav tools
    1. breaker bar
    2. ratchet/socket set
    3. socket extensions
    4 impact/drill
    5 head lamp
    6. multi meter
    7. scanner tool
    8. jack and jack stands
    9. box wrench set
    10. hammer

  3. Torque is a measure of LEVERAGE… the quote-"give me a lever and I will move the world" by that greek dude- is very accurate.. and torque is a word for the mathmetical measurement of energy gained in leverage. 🙂 Only reason I post this is it was a long time before I learned that- use to wonder wtf torque was.. ha.

  4. I know about stripping out the gears in the ratchets. I managed to break a Craftsman ratchets and Lowe's replaced it for free no questions asked since Lowe's is now a Craftsman dealer.

  5. Jack stands total capacity rating is by the pair, not individual stand. Example: 3 ton stands, each stand maximum is 1.5 tons (3,000 pounds).

  6. Cars need 4 OBDII ports. One for preserving your charge when you remove the battery, one for a vehicle tracking system, one for your diagnostics through your Android head unit, and one the diagnosing problems.

  7. Man, this would be an awesome video to see an updated version of, as a beginner mechanic, learning the basic tools I needed was kinda a struggle lol
