  1. i ran dirt track and it seems like the only time i broke a rod was when i let off it. never when hammering it. and the closet we had to a computer was a volt meter and timing light.

  2. Dang wish I would have known you were down here in Florida ! That track is right down the street from me ! Can’t wait to take my dragster out there!

  3. “I don’t know why we even checked it.” Yeah, it’s time and effort, but it beats blowing up expensive engines. Now you also have a much better idea of what your inspection schedule should be.

  4. For the love of God please use new boats from now I know s*** about racing but I was born to be an engineer after them boats stretch they will never hold the torque right again

  5. Race Night in America is the WORST of all the Street Outlaw shows. HATE that show as the camera sucks, and the races are bs. While I'm not a big fan of the 405 show, it's a lot better than Race Night in America. I like Shawn and I like Chief. But most of the other 405 guys bitch and make excuses way toooooooo much. My favorite Street Outlaw show is MSO, BY FARRRRRRR!!!!!!!!! JJ is the Man. And it showed with what MSO was able to do in the biggest Cash Days in History. JJ spent so much time doing for his team, he didn't spend enough time on his own car. He put more time helping Axe Man, than he did his own races… But I like Murder Nova, as Shawn doesn't make excuses and talk shit. He admits fault when he messes up, and says let's go fix it. I respect that a ton. "Utah, give me two!" Love that movie.

  6. a leak down is the best test you can do.
you can have a good compression test with leaky valves but the leak down is the only way to find exactly whats really going on . also I might add , while you are putting a new engine together I like to tap on the valve stems with a plastic hammer while the cylinder is pumped up with a leak down tester and seat the valves before you ever start it up ..

  7. I’d like to see a overall walk around and under both murder novas to see the engineering and what that type of horsepower and racing does to a car over a season.

  8. Why Don't you check your Valve springs tensions during your periodic maintenance, especially after running 9500rpm runs?

  9. “It only went a 4.20” saying it like a 4.20 ain’t still haulin ass!!! Lmao y’all the best and you are just like us! That’s why we love y’all! Doing more with less baby!! 💯👍🏼🤘🏼🤙🏼💪🏼👊🏼

  10. Hey SEC football is the best War Eagle LoL RoAR Auburn Tigers RoAR we Alabama boys really Represent the SEC like the 405 okc guys rep the street racing I reckon LoL

  11. Thanks Phantom for all your hard work and Thank you Shawn for your sitting mostly. LOL 👍👏🤜🤛🤙✌ Great show dudes. I know "Fuck you Randy" lol. You think you have old eyes now, wait until your 62. I have to have Glasses on to find my Glasses

  12. Mike Murillo won NPK running his BBF to 9200 rpm, at least that’s what he’s said. Shawns proline motor is the baddest set up you can get in my opinion, if they get that thing lined out for NPK I think they could win it.

  13. I didn't know that there was a matching $60,000.00 engine stand, for the $60,000.00 engine?

Because from my perspective the engine stand does the job. So why would they need anything other than the 60.00 engine stand…

  14. The pitcher on the mound analogy really made sense. Motor head since I was a kid but never had the direction to get anywhere near this but played a lot of high level baseball and I understand. It all goes silent and you just do what you do

  15. Would this motor be good for street to everyday like driving Or now please comment back I'm looking for something where I could just get into in go but have a little go go with me to In case I see a Honda I wanna eat it up and krapp out A skyline or Another junk I can't stand those little junks
