4. This event seems crazy. They bitch about a hood on Ruby, but let people and cars run WELL past their safe levels.

5. TX2k has turned in such a crappy event. This event needs to be held at a 4 lane track or they need to get rid of or change the way the GTR class is done. That one class held up the entire event. They need to enforce safety rules as well. No way a 200 mph car should be going down track without a cage and chutes. i guess someone has to die before changes are made. If I was a big channel I would skip the event next year and send a message. Only thing that will work is if people start avoiding the event.

6. I refuse to believe THIS many accidents were cause of the wind or whatever. Something’s not right. I’ve seen wrecks TX2K before, but this amount is very alarming. And most of it was at the end of the track

11. Seems to me that money has become the main objective to this event, like everyone is saying, no belly pans,chutes OR cages and going 200+ but people can't run without a hood? These people just baught there way past tech. Sad to see I feel bad for EVERYONE who attended this joke of an event, this year atleast

16. I saw Jeff Hagaman die in his GTR at NOLA 3 years ago. I don't ever want to see that kind of thing happen again. If these guys won't get a car spec'ed for those kind of speeds/ETs, and don't know how to drive them, then this type of event isn't casting a good light on the sport as a whole. I can understand why so many drivers were upset.

18. So glad they require these cars to be ready for something like this. Cages, suits, helmets, fire suppression etc… has saved countless lives in racing accidents.

21. A lot of these crashes were easily avoidable with parachutes but not everyone learn from stats, some learn from mistakes lol

41. Maybe it's just me. But the GTRs and Audis are getting kind of boring. They're all the same thing. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying they're not fast. But it's gotten to the point you see one you've seen them all.

44. do all the 2000 plus HP roll raceing cars require same safety as the drag cars ? i know the faster you go you need parachute and a beefier rollcage i just dont know if that is a requirement for all cars even roll racing
