You might want to change you comment on Prostock running 632's. NHRA Prostock is limited to 500CID max. IHRA is either 827 or 840 CID for wedge motors. with 121,000 views, surprised no one else saw that.

Ok atleast you see where im coming from i will definitely own a car like a supra before i would own a muscle car,but that being said i would own a earth shattering v8 if it was affordable to run it daily they just arent anymore. So the boosted smaller engines are the way of the future because they can do impressive things for what they are.
Okay we can agree on that a bigger engine will always be faster if you max it out. I wouldn't mind owning a turbo charged 2jz motor. I'm a car enthusiast I like all types of car's including imports. I just find it annoying when people are biased or stuck under a rock that tell me how Supras/imports are the fastest.
yes a bigger engine will always be faster if you max it out. but the fact that a 6 cylinder can beat ALOT of these "muscle" cars is still amazing the real point is there will always be a competition between american muscle and imports and nobody will ever win because you can modify your argument to win on either side.
I may be a fucking dumbass, but you're point is irrelevant. Like I said in my original post there are V8 turbo door slammers that run's 5 in the quarter mile at over 250mph. These Supra fanboys need to take their heads out of their asses. Top fuel is a different level yes but the POINT is V8's will always be faster.
Thats not the point what im saying is people here are comparing cars that were designed specifically go as fast as possible to a car that was sold from the factory with 300 hp. They aren't the same thing at all you can compare anything you want but its pointless like what i said about the jet plane, somebody will always find a way to say they are faster.
Cool story bro. There has NEVER been a Supra running 250mph in the quarter mile. Let educate you "Top Fuel" cars run a 500 cubic motor. Not the biggest possible engine you can get. Prostock run's 632 cubic inch motors. They run 6's in the quarter mile naturally aspirated(means no turbo, supercharger, or nitrous). Were talking internal combustion engines here cool guy.
NHRA cut them back to 1000 ft. a few years back but still 330 mph very impressive.

you should check out Larry Larson and his 5 sec twin turbo nova. its street legal and he drives it everywhere
i forgot that the car had to be street legal and what is currently the fastest non street legal?
the fastest drag car and world record holder is the supra but id rather drive a nova that is .4 seconds slower thats just me lol
Who's the one with the math problem? You. That supra is more like 1700hp to the wheels and runs a low 6sec quarter. The Nova probably has a little over 2000hp as it had 1650hpto the wheels back in 2010, but it can't ever hold traction when it wants to, let alone in a race.
