It is the clutch plate that’s slides over the input shaft the plate is completely broken off an grinding against the input shaft teeth at the end which is why your not getting any gear selection even thou it feels like the clutch is working. That very last time it did go into gear is when the clutch plate finally snapped off the back of the pressure plate but continued to grind against the input shaft teeth

I have also dealt with Steve from monster transmissions in Florida they built my 4l65e that I have had nothing but trouble with I would not recommend monster transmissions broken sprags and bad clutches now it's been broken for a while with only 1st and 2nd gear when you pay 2400 for a trans and stall to match your cam and haven't really done anything extreme yet I'm really disappointed with them everybody else has had good luck I know of so I guess it's just me

24. 2:05 agree I’m in the same boat as you i work on my own stuff because I know what i did and you wouldn’t know what the guys who worked on your car did so if there is a problem it’s easy to fix and I don’t know how the other poeple are treating your car or engine parts and it’s much cheaper do the job on your own than paying poeple to do it …if you do it right (i have a trust issue when it comes to my car and bike so i work on it alone)
