Pretty off beat video but we got the chance to go see Paul's hanger and checkout some neat MD helicopters! Good news is Mullet's SMX is in the mail back to us as of today!
Owning all black cars or vehicles is crazy he definitely needs a Sam to keep them looking good as a ex detailer I can say black cars are the worse paint to try to keep looking good
Let's go brother. ðŸ˜Å
Hey Cleet,
You guys should ask Paul if he wants to rip around in a racecar dragster etc as a return in all of his Helo footage. That would be great content for both channels😮.
I want to see Cleetus operate a helicopter while running a remote control airplane and see if he can keep up with himself!
You mean the "trash can" tail rotor?
I fly the little bird in dayz just like that…
Did some fast roping in the Marines, it's super fun. Never out of a little bird like that though (Only huey's and -53's)
These helicopters are very common in european police forces. They are used because NOTAR design is better in our cramped cities with lot of tall trees (and thus, avoid any tail strikes)
That was cool!
George living his very best life …
i think the decibel level of the notar is probably similar to that of the 530F or the 500D but as it is a lower frequency sound, it is less harsh on hearing because lower frequency sound waves carry less energy.
Did Cleetus sell the red chopper he had?
Id like to know if its possible to land the cub with no motor. Like if the motor fails can you land safely. If it is possible i think you should practice doing that. Its always better to be prepared for the worst then not at all imo
BUY THE SUPRA!!!!
12:30 i thought the same when i have seen these before
heavy d remote control helicopter tug would be a good gift
He needs some rc helli pads to move all them toys around instead of the side by side
kinda disappointed!? no "Best Tugs?" WTH? fun vid though, you guys never disappoint.
We used a No Tar similar to that one to skip concrete into a remote building site
er lol rare…. Uk police been using them since mid 90s
Back in 1988 I wanted to be a helicopter pilot so I applied and was accepted to Spartan Aeronautical, so I can learn to be an A&P mechanic with a helicopter specialty, only… I broke my leg in a snow machine accident and didn't plan to be handicapped at school, so I decided to stay home.
Then I went to college in Fairbanks instead when recovered, but that only lasted until Christmas break when I got drunk and bumped a pedestrian walking home with her kids. Her leg broke in 6 places, and I went to jail for DUI..
Very common set-up here in Europe! Due to dense population and operating in built up areas I expect… 🙂
Great video ! Pity you didnt get to fly a 920n, such an easy bird to fly. You missed off the "easy" explanation of the Coanda effect created on the side of the tailboom by the two gaps down the starboard side. This is the major part of the anti-torque force & not just the use of the direct thruster. Then above around 20kts, DC comes from the vertical stabiliser.
lol the notar looks like a dragonfly to me
Man needs a Mcfarland Aviation bald eagle statue with pilot helmet on standing tall on that lovely dream property.
"Can this pick up a jet boat?" Lol
Not knowing too much about helos I do have a concern. Wouldn't the state of failure always be catastrophic for the notar? I'm sure it's less common than a tail rotor strike but I'd be worried about it losing function. Driveshafts don't just snap randomly under proper conditions. I'll need to look into how exactly the tail is being powered.
This is the guy that you were with when you were doing the bucket training. Neat.
I really want to see Paul doing an 8sec pass in Ruby!
Get Paul a RatRod Supra. His neighbourhood would love it.
build him a blacked out crown vic
Good thing about the cub, is if the engine dies, it'll still fly.
