Corn cob needs a 900 cfm carb those engines love air you need more airflow believe me I learned the hard way lock out the mechanical advance in the distributor set your timing at 34 degrees at 3000 rpm and that thing will sing

Highly recommend getting the whole crew a set of custom molded ear plugs. I wear a set of dbBlockers almost daily! They can come to your shop and make molds of everybody and have them in a couple weeks.
