It’s Day 4 of Sick Summer at Great Lakes Dragaway and we witnessed the wildest moment of the entire trip. Had a fairly nasty crash at the top end of the track. A truck rolled at 130mph and slammed into the Camaro in the other lane HARD! Luckily everyone was completely fine and the day continued on! Lots of ups and down for other racers as usual. Looking forward to final day tomorrow!

Hello Kyle: Thank you for chatting with me at Day 4 of Sick Summer 2024 at Great lakes Dragaway. I did not tell you then, and wanted to put a message out there that I greatly appreciate your work. I find your 1320 videos addictive. There is a certain style and production value to these videos that make them very watchable. I also wanted to relate an observation to you that is a possibility for a video/story idea. Have you ever noticed that verbal communication about cars and drag racing specifically is all about numbers. 1320, ET's, cubic inches, turbo charger diameters, rear end ratios, and on and on. If two guys talked about cars drag racing and could not state any numbers in the conversation they would be silent. Possibly, make a video about numbers in drag racing. Just a thought. Probably a dumb question but here it goes……..is there any insurance in drag racing to cover accidents like what happened at the start of the video or is there no such insurance for this ?? I feel so sorry for old mate who's car was hit…..only 15 odd runs on it then it gets destroyed by someone else. Glad both drivers got out unharmed.
