I was on the ride a week before this happened
Some of these are just really bad, only using one cable on each side and some only have those two seats on its own connected to those cables. While solution is easy. Always have the circular cage, have seatbelts AND the safety metal thing over you (sorry english is not my native language) and have two cables on each side. This should be mandatory.

Once a year inspection??? Hard to believe they are so lax. That should be inspected daily, you could see the chord wrapping delaminating at 0:38 . That should have been a dead give away, and should have been flagged by the attendants.
