14. WTF — a woman receives a long typewritten letter from their kid who either is a poor typist and would NEVER send a typewritten letter, or else CANT TYPE AT ALL. But it didn't matter. Being a missing person in the 80s was not taken seriously. And i guess the U.S. mail is some fucking magical thing in the minds of detectives — or else they just want to convince the missing person's loved ones that that makes it all okay….

15. I escaped this guy. I met him where I worked and we were just supposed to go out to play pool AS FRIENDS. . . you would NEVER know how evil he is by talking to him. He came across as very kind.
