   My question is “why are Democrats not telling those same Republicans that if they are so concerned about the House getting together why don’t they urge 5 Republicans to support Hakeem Jeffries and that way they will have a speaker and the House can get down to the business of governing.

   The pettiness of these grown men, elected officials is so childish that it is a wonder that they can ever agree on who cuts the lights off at the end of the day.

    Here is what I believe. Dems wanted the shutdown. Republicans we’re going to get all the blame for that. The campaign letters saying “look at what these lunatic republicans have done shutting down the govt. send $$$ so we can push back…..” were already printed (and I know that part is literally true). They were going to get SOOOOOO much traction out of that shutdown. But McCarthy called their bluff and they lost that golden opportunity. So they joined these nuts in the motion to vacate because all the blame lands on the Republicans.

    Can one Democrat say, this vacant speakership at this critical moment is better for the country than McCarthy being Speaker?

    Full disclosure I’m not a huge fan of McCarthy either…..but I liked him better than this dumpster fire!!!

32. Look Jim Jordan will not stop trying to make the Big Lie the reality. There is no way that he will not tank the funding of government so as to support Donald Trump . He is not a builder, he doesn't have a track record for passing legislation. He is a political terrorist and there is no reason to believe that he won't burn the House down.
