Huawei Nexus looks so shitty, don't know who designed the phone?
LG Nexus looks damn cheap and same old design, google what's wrong with you. Seriously
Why wasnt Nexus 4 considered? That was the original Nexus and an amazing phone for the buck.
i think that Nexus 6 was awesome
I didn't know it was dead? I see it everywhere and own a few myself
I loved my Nexus 4 :p and yeah, up to the Nexus 5 I was all like "The only Androids worth having are Nexus phones", but the 6 was quite disappointing to me
It looks. You're Very Patient. box mammoth !!!
The Nexus 6 was a fail. Phone was too big, poor screen tech, poor battery life, and poor price point. FAIL.
Could ARA be the next nexus? (Or the next after this round)
no. android is shit.
We need Nexus 7 2015 edition. And for god's sake tablets need MicroSD slots.
I hate to be overly critical, but that raised ring around the fingerprint scanner is hideous
if the image leaks are to go by the rear fingerprints sensor will be a fail as no doubt it will be a large frame and awkward like the elephone p7000 it will be over priced baring in mind some of the flagships coming out of China such as the meizu mx4 pro (which is my daily) ulefone betouch2 which is also a handset I have had use of. the bonus to the nexus i guess was the updates but I'd probably now be more inclined to use a custom ROM with regular updates and better performance. these large company's are now trying so hard to out do each other they are not listening to the user and concentrating on spec rather than usability.
wondering if I should wait for this or get the moto x. How easy is it to get a nexus device any way?
except for camera. That's important to me!
I think everyone has already forgotten about the nexus 9. Poor HTC
I want a premium nexus , the price doesn't matter. So if they sell two nexii this time, it will be great .I'll go for the more premium nexus. I hope LG makes the expensive one and Huawei makes the cheaper one. I don't really like my nexus 6 for its screen.
A smaller, slighly more powerful G4 would be a pretty good device imo. G4 is really solid already.
I'm watching this video on my Nexus 5!
If the nexus phones had a micro sd slot, I would buy nothing else. Without one, I wouldn't take one for free.
Why don't you have hair on your head? :/
Can't wait to see what the new Nexus phones are going to be… I don't know if I'll be able to decide between a Nexus and the new Moto X Pure Edition!! Hahaha
currently I have a nexus 5 and after the lollipop update, the phone became trash. I have one year and a half with the phone and I'm desperate to get another phone. this phone simple sucks now. hardware issues, and other problems made me not to come back to the nexus family.
The nexus 5 had it's share of compromises, the camera, the screen and boring design not to mention it was completely plastic.
I also believe the frame was plastic as well but not to sure about that. Oh yeah the speaker sucked as well. So it was not a flagship in anything besides the SoC.
And in my opinion just having a great SoC doesn't make a phone a flagship.
I think they should make the bigger nexus with samsung- as best display, a great build quality (S6) and also they should add SD card support
It will be a phone worth the wait…
Who on earth pays more than 50$ for an Android phone? I mean the 700$ android flagships are not worth that much because they run the same OS as Android One phones. Your hardware maybe premium but your OS is cheap.
with that design no it can not, that is an ugly design…
Android users are financially astute and know it is substantially cheaper to buy an unlocked phone off contract and then float between the carriers, often on T-mobile or StraightTalk.
Such financially astute buyers will also be drawn to:
– $300-$400 price range. Example is OnePlus $350 at launch. $299 a year later, the OnePlus2 $390.
– Wireless charging, is very cheap to add and makes good use of any office desk time without plugging in cable so can leave work a nearly fully charged battery
– NFC. Android M, Android Pay coming in the life of the next Nexus. Whilst Apple provides mediocre specifications for exhorbinat price they do tend to get more attention and Apply Pay will pull Android's NFC wireless payment. OnePlus really was stupid in this read dropping NFC from OP2.
– 3000mah battery
– 5.2" screen no larger, this places it at the upper end of max size for >90% of humans hand size.
– 1080p, no need for more pixels.
– front speakers
– 3GB RAM
– speed isn't that important.
– fingerprint unlocking isn't that important, Smartlock on Android Wear provides the equivalent
– Not penalising habitants of certain states by adding tax, just make it the same price across all USA, as per OnePlus, T-mobile's plans, etc, all the Google Play adding tax and passing it onto the consumer does is force a delay and waiting for the likes of BHP. Not saying avoid tax, just make the price the same with tax and then depending on where is the customer, then pay the appropriate tax to the authorities.
remember the original nexus one? that devices spec had android written all over it(unlike everything from the nexus s)
I don't care what kind of phone lg makes as long as it has stock Android its all good with me.
was gonna buy moto x pure until i heard about new nexus.
Any idea when it might be ANNOUNCED? or even release? how big is this thing compared to new moto x?
clickbait
i liked this new updated tune…thankyou for the information.i would like to see this channel to get much more number of subscriptions
A shrunk g4 running vanilla android is exactly what I would like to see.
"please restore nexus to it's former glory" Okay wish granted, peeling backs, stuck sim trays, boring stock, and loss of support after 2 years. Don't worry because I love you so much I'll throw in bug's out the wazoo and 10 updates to fix them you'll be on android 6.2.2.2.2.5.6.7.8 soon.
Huawei was not a good choice, ive used two of there phones and both were trash to say the least. I'm hoping google didn't choose them for no reason
i would gladly pay $700 if the new N5 was freaking dope. really don't want any compromises.
Someone just needs to make a bigger battery for the Nexus 5. It's still otherwise perfect for my needs.
What is it that makes people so crazy over this new design? I would rather they refresh the old design a little.
Only reason why I dont have a LGG4 is because I new LG was making a Nexus phone. I just like the way LG make phones, there good bulid quality & always last a long time. Sence joining Sprint I had LG optimus G, G2, & now G3. So I really want the G4 but with the help of Goggle I no LG will knock it out the park with the new Nexus phone! Samsung makes beautiful phones also but there on there own thing you have to have been with Samsung sence day 1 to like there phones & sence I havent & taking away 124GB off the Note5 made that decision easy..
I don't understand why the nexus 4 now never mentioned in the video as the Nexus 4 was a fantasic phone that put the nexus name above the rset and its spec is still competitive today despite it's lac of certain features such as 4G and fast charging
the fingerprint on the back is really a turn off. i would like a home button with a fingerprint though. its just too tedious to use the back of the phone for fingerprints. and thats the only reason im not buying it.
The only thing huawei is going to do is release a rubbish oversized nexus. I mean, look at their phones: they're like an ugly copy of iPhones with horrifyingly laggy operating systems. Google must be delusional by getting the worst big brand to do the next nexus.
I'm still using the original nexus 5 and it holds up really good even now
I love nexus 5
The nexus 6 is too big and waaay expensive
I think the nexus 5design is great
i don't think so.
that nexus can come up again
How do you feel about the fingerprint sensor on the back of the device?
do I remember it its what I'm using rn to watch this
The Nexus 5 was so over rated. I switched from the One M7 in 2014 and was disappointed. The hardware is boring and cheap. HTC nexus needs to happen.
